Dark Shrimp

'Love Sensation' is the debut EP from Dark Shrimp, a French musician who settles his own style and sound somewhere between Laurent Garnier and St. Germain. An unusual mix of Electronic, Jazz and Club.

He is not a rookie in the music scene, since a couple of years the stage is one of his favorite places. As a result of this, a full album will be available this year on CD: 'Crossways'. This will point to what is his preferred field: blending all sorts of genres.

A little sneak-in so is this EP, which brings together three very different remixes of the musical theme of 'Love Sensation' with the original in one package; trancy, chilled, electronic. Good 20-minutes danceable, varied music under the patronage of the dark crustacean...

Nicolas Kern

Nicolas Kern's music style is ambiant, chillout. It carries emotions. After having composed a few concept albums in different styles (Sequenced and Sequenced 2 with electronic music in the vein of Klaus Schulze's, Symbiosis with ambiant) , he is now composing a more mature album, to be released in 2011 (including tracks such as My Path, Me, Myself and I and Tribute To Richard Wright).

His collaboration with Dark Shrimp is very strong, in an artistic and friendly way. That's how Virtual Rendez-Vous concept keeps going through years.

Even if he doesn't compose as much as he was used to, he likes to say his music "has won maturity, in the way it's composed and in the way it touches everyone's soul".
